tasks, and more.
Our teams have worked closely together for over a year to achieve this truly exceptional feat – the overlap of
SmarterMail's features with eM Client's functions. This advancement covers all aspects of modern email
management.
Enhanced Email Functionality
- Automatic SmarterMail account setup - you only need to enter your username and password and eM
Client will do the rest for you.
- Signatures set in webmail are now synchronized to eM Client and vice versa when using EWS or
IMAP.
- All categories including the master category are now synchronized not only when using EWS
protocol, but also for IMAP.
Improved Calendar and Collaboration Tools
- SmarterMail’s Online Meetings support has been added for comfortable scheduling of online
meetings.
- Complete integration with SmarterMail’s shared calendars, contacts, tasks, and notes when
using MAPI & EWS.
- Enterprise features like delegation, contact groups, Global Address List synchronization, and
web calendars are now fully compatible with the SmarterMail server.

Simple management
We’ve gone the extra mile to make your email experience even easier. If you already have a SmarterMail
license, we've partnered with SmarterTools to make acquiring an eM Client license and device activations
quickly and easily, right from within SmarterMail itself! And, once you have your eM Client license, you
will be able to manage your device activations from within SmarterMail as well. We’ve worked together to
create an experience that allows for simple administration, a hallmark of both eM Client and SmarterMail.
