Our team has worked hard on bug fixes, optimizations, and responding to user feedback from eM Client 10. eM Client 10.1 brings several improvements IMAP, with faster attachment download and support for subaccounts, Rocket.Chat integration, whitelist support and more!

Major speedup of attachment download on IMAP
We have reworked IMAP implementation so your attachments are downloaded much faster than before. This will be noticed especially by users with Microsoft 365, iCloud and Yahoo accounts.

Rocket.Chat support
Rocket.Chat is joining the ranks of supported Chat collaboration services! Including support for channels, multichat, mentions, starred messages and threads.

Read-only calendars support
eM Client can now detect and correctly work with read-only calendars, so it won’t be possible to accidentally synchronize anything back to the server.

Postbox importer
eM Client now includes an import tool for Postbox, so you can easily bring over all your accounts, folders, messages, address book, filters, tags, signatures, account settings for automatic copies, and more!

Delegated accounts and public folders can now be shown as subaccounts on IMAP
Previously, we showed all shared, public and delegated folders for IMAP accounts as any other folders. Now you can manually set which folders belong to the other accounts and separate them from your main folders.
This can make the distinction between these folders clearer and will also separate the Conversations threads inside your IMAP account.

Ignored paths setting for IMAP accounts
This setting can be used to remove specific folders from synchronization – the folder will still be available on your mail server and your webmail, but instead of just hiding your folder, it will not be synchronized into eM Client at all.

Tenor for animated GIFs
Tenor has replaced Giphy as our provider for gifs that you can use in your emails and chat.

Fixed missing generated events on Google
Automatically generated events in Google accounts, such as flights, concerts, etc., are now correctly shown in eM Client.

Server-side blacklists and whitelists for IceWarp and SmarterMail accounts
Blacklist which moves messages to Junk Mail folder and whitelist, which makes sure messages from specific contacts are never marked as Spam can be synchronized with IceWarp and SmarterMail accounts, ensuring you can have these same settings on your server and across your devices.

Search in whitelist and blacklist
You can now search inside your blacklists and whitelists to easily manage these rules.

Fixed a few issues with chat notifications
The chat notifications sometimes did now show up correctly or were not visible enough with the Chat section now being moved from the right sidebar to the left section – so we reworked the notifications to make sure you never overlook them, even when you have the eM Client app already opened.

Fixed badly displayed search bar for some custom themes
In custom themes the search bar was too low when a different colored background was used for the title bar, the position is now fixed for these themes.

Fixes for swipe (macOS)
Visual glitches with swipe feature on macOS devices are now fully resolved.

How can you get these improvements?
If you already use eM Client 10, you will simply get a notification that a new update is ready or you can use Menu > Check for updates option inside your app.
If you own eM Client Pro for version 9 (or older), just purchase an upgrade to eM Client 10.1.
