Full control over your cloud files

  • Upload attachments from eM Client directly to Dropbox

  • Cloud attachments are listed as normal attachments in eM Client (when sending and receiving files)

  • Toggle between read only and editable mode for documents of supported providers (for .rtf, .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, and .pptx files)

  • Add password protection to your files

  • Set an expiration date for your files

Where to begin

  • If Dropbox is already installed on your device, eM Client will detect it automatically. Also, if the app is installed and you drag & drop or choose a file from a cloud storage folder, you will be asked about connecting your Dropbox storage to eM Client.

  • If Dropbox is not installed, it needs to be added manually. Go to Settings > Mail > Attachments and click the Add button to add Dropbox.

  • Upon attaching files from Dropbox for the very first time, you will be prompted to enter your Dropbox credentials.
