Google calendar sync outlook

Unfortunately, it is not possible to fully sync google calendar with outlook. Outlook does not support Google outlook sync using the Google Calendar protocol, but you can either subscribe to the calendar or import the events from it. Neither if these options will allow you to add or change the events in your original Gmail calendar though.

How to subscribe to your Google Calendar in Outlook

  1. Open your Google calendar and log in.
  2. In the left column, click My calendars and hover over the one you want to add to Outlook. Click the 3 dots and open Settings and sharing.
  3. Scroll down to Integrate calendar and right-click the Secret address in iCal format and select Copy.
  4. In Outlook, click File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
  5. On the Internet Calendars tab, click New.
  6. Paste the address you copied in step 3, by pressing CTRL+V, and click Add.
  7. In the Folder Name box, type the name of the calendar you want to see in Outlook, and then click OK.

How to import your Google Calendar events to Outlook

  1. Open your Google calendar and log in.
  2. In the left column, click My calendars and hover over one (does not matter which). Click the 3 dots and open Settings and sharing.
  3. In the left menu click Import & Export.
  4. Under Export section click the Export button - this will export all your visible calendars into iCalendar (.ics) files.
  5. Import the .ics file into Outlook.

Warning: With these you can check your events from your Google calendar in Microsoft Outlook, but no changes you make in Outlook will be synchronized back to your Google calendar on the web or in your phone.
For the Import option, you would also need to manually import any new events from the server manually.

Google calendar sync with eM Client

  1. Open eM Client.
  2. Go to Menu > Accounts and click Add account.
  3. In the Automatic setup insert your Gmail email address and follow the steps.
  4. In the last step you can choose to sync alll services or just leave the Calendar option checked if you want to use just the Calendar part of your Google account.
  5. And that's it! You can now find your events in the Calendar section of the app.
